I dropped an email to NC1L at the DXCC desk regarding this, and his reply was he does not expect that the change in administration should not result in a change in the existing DXCC entity. He did not go into any reasoning, but I would assume (yes, there's that dangerous word again) that since there is no change in the actual entity itself, just it's political status, nothing changes.
