Bug description:
I'm using ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 5. on a Compaq presario V5033EA (AMD Turion 64)
When I change the volume the message notifier is empty, (the volume changes).
The same happens when I mute.
I don't know if the bug was there on alpha 4.
