         Thanks a million! That worked perfectly. I am curious though: 
Where did you find that tacking the 01 (or 02 or 03) would set the filter? 
I checked the manual, and the only thing I could find was that 06xx would 
set the radio to mode xx (which DX4WIN does a fine job of inserting). 
There's (apparently) no mention of specifying the filters that I could 
find. (I'm wondering what other tricks might be out there.)
