Hi Dan, I think it has to do with the node you connect to. I can connect to K1EA, W1GQ, K8SMC or KE9KD using DX4WIN 5.03 or 6.02 and have NEVER had a disconnect problem. I have cable modem service, am networked through a local-area (home) router, and do not run any kind of keep-alive software anywhere.
