The upgrade didn't cause me any problems. The upgrade from 6.01 to 6.02 to 6.03 was free.
I have owned every single version since DX4WIN first came out and each and every upgrade was definitely worthwhile. www.ad1c.com has a detailed list of the upgrade hints for those who want a few more details on the upgrade. As far as I am concerned for dxers the best Logging Software is DX4WIN and WriteLog for contesters who need a windows platform. Both have excellent upgrade policies and DX4WIN is normally the easier of the two to upgrade and get running. This last upgrade includes one of the best country lists for dxers that I have ever seen. Jim (AD1C) with help from others has researched calls, dx-expeditons, re-assigned calls, etc., going back over 50 years and provided DX4WIN users with a free country list upgrade that is better than available with any other dx logging software. It also upgrades all of the IOTA data, and QSL manager data.
