I have the same issue here with PSK31. One solution is to uncheck all modes except the wanted one in the Preferences?Station?Mode setup and check the "ignore grey spots" box in Packet1 when wishing to use RTTY/PSK etc.. Then, you will see only the spots of the selected mode on the upper packet window, and still see anything received in the lower one. Not the most elegant, but is a solution if you wish to work only one mode... But, I guess Paul can fix that issue.
