After reading the couple of emails on the topic... I stand corrected....

I was not thinking of the headers that are sent part of the file, I was only
thinking of the main body and did not realize there were different versions out
there. My mistake...

After reading these few emails (and from doing the ADIF/Cabrillo conversions
before) for DX4WIN, I can see why Paul has not gone that route.

I have used N1MM before but do have to learn it better...

Brian

Brian,
Not all Cabrillos are created equal. With the recent emergence of Cabrillo
3.0, about 1/3 of contest sponsors now require v3.0, whereas the remainder
till use submissions based on the v2.x format. Implementing a Cabrillo
xport would not be one-time-and-done effort.
My vote is for Paul to devote his time to making DX4Win the best DX logging
rogram out there, and leave contesting to others.

hey are not asking for a "contest" style program that would require
onstant changes due to rule changes ect...
They are asking for a way to export a file in Cabrillo format. True this is
enerally used in contests, However I don't believe this would require
pdates like you say. This could be a one time change could it not?
I'm for exporting a Cabrillo file directly from DX4WIN...
My 2 cents...

ope... Paul should not waste time on Contest features because they
quire constant attention to changes. Even casual contesters should
nsider a free contest program, they are so much better suited. I use
MM. It gets pretty involved if you want to use all the features... but
u don't need all the features for causal operating like I'm doing in
e 160 contest this weekend.

Ofcourse it would be better dx4win has this capability for the casual
ontester who will do some qsos...

DX4WIN does not output Cabrillo. I've never heard of this service CQ
offers. Send me your ADIF file and I'll ship Cabrillo back to you.
