Hi Mel,

I guess I have a couple of thoughts: Did you install the Icom USB driver?
You're supposed to do that before ever plugging in the radio, although I'm
not sure how important that is. I am guessing that you did since you said it
works with N1MM. I have my baud rate set to 19200 and the CI-V address set
to 7A. Here are the other settings since maybe this will help:

CI-V Transceive: Off
CI-V Output (for ANT): Off
USB Serial Function: CI-V

In DX4WIN, I have the poll rate set to 1000ms and Max tries set to 6.

I've attached a copy of the RIG file that I use. It's basically the same as
the standard 7600_500 except that I think I changed the filter to default to
off.

Subject: [Dx4win] Problem connecting a IC7600

I have just bought an IC 7600 and have been struggling to get the
communication between the computer and the rig to work.

I us a Dell with XP professional 64 bits, DX4WIN 9.04 and have connected the
rig with an USB-cable. I have an SPE Expert 1K-FA amplifier connected via
ALC, Send and C-IV.

All baud rates are set the same 9600 in DX4WIN, the com port, the rig and
amplifier.

I have tried to use both ICOM 7600_250Hz and the ICOM 7600_500Hz

The program and rig do not match, when clicking on a spot or a spot from the
band map. It seems like it is the frequencies that do not match, mode
changes, but I have not tested this so much.

When using N1MM everything works.

Any suggestions what to do?
