You are correct, only telnet connections are supported. It's really easy and provides all the spots. You set up user options per the help file. Connect to the internet as you normally do. Then in DXbase select from the Window menu, New Internet. > 2) In my old loging program ( LogIC 5 ) these was a > report called "Cards needed" ie if you selected an > award such as DXCC 10m this report would print out all > the contact you had made with each country, but only > for those countries which you did not already have > marked as confirmed. There are some reports that might be of interest too. Take a look at the standard reports section. Also, the DXbase Wizard module can extract new ones and make that info available to you in a user defined list report. > 3)When logging, if two addresses come up in the QSL > Info window I always want to use the CDROM address, is > there anyway to make that default 'cause it appears > that the choice always returns to DXbase. Or am I > missing something and I really should want the dxbase > address. It is working as designed, but we do plan to change this in the next release so that your choice remains constant. > 4) Does anyone have a walk thru of the QSL'ing process > that I can read. For example, same I have just logged > 5 contacts, how do I get address and QSL ladels > printed. I think the process is fairly well described in the help file under the label section. If you just entered a QSO and want to have labels, with your cursor clicked on that QSO anywhere, click the QSO label ICON on your toolbar. This saves a QSO label for printing. To save an address label, click in the QSL info window with the address displayed, select whether you want to save the DXbase or the CD address, and click the Address label ICON. This stores the address label. Repeat for the other QSOs. This process stores the label info. To see it, select Pending Label ICON. To print the labels, select the Output/labels, and follow the prompts. There is also the DXbase Wizard module which can automatically create pending labels based on filter criteria you set. Recommend you review the help file on labels to get more details. > > Thanks for everyones help > > Brian > KD7Z > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web at www.dxbase.com > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > To UNSUBSCRIBE please visit: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase >
