Gert, The support of W5XD keyer in DXbase was strictly for the keyer functionality. DXbase was not designed to share a serial port with another device ( radio and keyer). Writelog is written to allow the port sharing since has control over both devices and can therefore control what gets sent to the port and when. Suggest you assign a serial port that is not shared with some other device to use the W5XD interface in DXbase.
