Just a point, but if you make the Prefix column slightly wider perhaps there
is then room to display VP8G in the column?

Did you add VP8GEO to the prefix mapping table before or after logging the
QSO?  To be accurate you should have added it to the "Call Map" tab in the
Prefix database.  If u added it since the QSO was logged you need to go the
QSO in the log and change the Prefix manually from VP8 to VP8G. DXBase does
not act retrospectively on QSOs.  If u change it manually be sure to save the
change by pushing F10 or clicking in another cell of the same or another QSO.

Try doing a Table Initialise?

To give u hope, I worked VP8GEO on 12m, when I logged the QSO I changed it to
VP8G from VP8 that DXBase suggested, and was prompted to save that mapping
call.  All my stats and tables are correct so it DOES work!
