Hello Bob,
  Whenever I run into this callsign matter such as with the recent
VP8GEO operation I do the following.  Of course one needs to be dead
certain of the callsign and qth..but with that in mind...

1. enter the callsign and all other pertinent data...
2. left click the right side edge of the prefix column
3. a list of prefixes and countries drops down
4. select the appropriate country for the callsign
5. confirm with an OK when DXbase asks if you want to remap that
callsign
6. you're done - this method is simple,straightforward, and has always
worked.
