Hi Glen, Thanks for the follow up info. I'm not sure the serial cable is an issue unless of course there is RF getting into things. The pacing value controls the speed at which successive commands are sent to the radio. Way back in the DOS days when we were actually trying various radios to develope that code, we found that all radios are not created equally, even the same radio brand/model. Dunno why, but anyway, I think you're on the right path in playing with the value of pacing.
