Hi Courtney:

I'm still a little curious about this.

If,as you wrote in your email, "all DXbase does is ask for the system time/date 
in UTC," and if
UTC does not change for daylight saving time, then it would seem that DXbase 
shouldn't care
whether or not your computer is displaying daylight savings time or not, since 
DXbase asks for UTC
which doesn't change.

Is that right or am I missing something?
