Hi Courtney: So my computer takes local time and computes UTC from that.
I thought maybe it might worked the other way. I thought perhaps the computer kept its system clock in UTC and then did a conversion for the time zone I set in when it displayed local time at the bottom right-hand corner of the monitor screen. Of course, either way would work.
