I don't see anything that you need to change.
IF "Connect HF serial interface" is NOT checked.
With mine (DXBase 2003) NOT checked there is NO frequency
entered when I log a contact (manually) by typing the Call into
the QSO log window. If I right click on a Cluster Spot then
click "Log Current Entry" then it will put in the frequency of the spot.
