I purchase my software. I do not condone theft in any form. Someone who says he has the right to copy/use software without paying for it would sure complain if I walked over and took his new Lexus to use. Somehow I don't think he would accept my explanation that "I have the right because they charge too much for it".
Now do I have the right to purchase the software and use it on both of my inshack machines? As for upgrades, You have the right to not purchase upgrades if you feel the new features are of no value to you. But if 3 years later there are features you do want, you should realize that this version is practically a whole NEW program. Not too many Auto dealers will let you trade in your bicycle for a Dodge Viper. Now having said all this, I feel justified in emailing wishlists to Jack and company. Part of paying for upgrades allows me to submit requests. (Jack and Courtney are probably rolling their eyes right now.) I've bought, used, discarded a lot of logging software. DXB has the CLEANest interface, MOSTest user configurable design, I've found. I presently have a 28 item wishlist. Hopefully some/most will be implemented. But even if they aren't, DXB will still be my favorite.
