I've experienced this once or twice myself. Never been able to intentionally duplicate it and have always assumed I goofed up a shut down procedure. I have a hunch, purely a hunch, that it may have been related to shutting down DXB with a telnet or vhf packet connection still active. But I can't certify to that.
Anyway, Tony's fix of opening the TaskManager and closing DXB that way always corrected the problem instantly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Cash" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Phil ON4VP" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, December 05, 2002 2:17 PM Subject: Re: [DXBase] exit and restart dxbase > This is another one that I know about. > I have had the same problem. > When this happens if you will hit Ctrl/Alt/Delete > which will bring up your task manager, look under > the "Processes" tab and you will find that DXBase > is still running in that window.
