Got the DX INFO window to retain the color settings. Turns out I was changing the color in the "text" fields. It looked right, but didn't retain the color settings when I rebooted. When I selected the "standard" under "styles", the change in color was retained when I rebooted.
Still learning. You have to do in Windows (the "so-called" operating system) Right click on your desktop, properties, desktop, appearance. Then left click on desktop aria and change the color. That will change the background of on the windows you cannot change in DXbase. But that is not your problem in the DX Info window. Go into standard and change the foreground color to change the background. Anyway, my DX Info window does maintain its background color as all of the windows I've changed, including the Transmit Toolbar and Previous Toobar windows. Art W2NRA
