Just upgraded from DXB2003 to DXB2004 Everything seemed fine. Got my TS-950SDX back today and tried to set up radio control. Not using any Comports for anything else. Went to Options and set Radio 1 for Kenwood TS-950 and checked to see if everything was set the same as in 2003. Checked Radio 2 set up and it is not checked in Connect to Radio, same with Rotor Controls. As far as I can determine everything is shut off except for Radio-1 which is checked.
When I left click on QSY in DX Info Window it tells me HF Radio failed to respond, I click on No and it does the same thing three or four times. The TS-950 just had the RS-232 port repaired so I was real worried it wasn't fixed. I pulled up DXB2003 and everything works fine. I switched to my TS-690S radio (IF-232C and same cables) still using 2003 and it worked fine also. I then called up 2004 again with the TS-690S and got the same response I got with the TS-950SDX except after the third No is selected the 690 finally responds and works the same way every time I try to QSY. What am I missing? Looking at the Radio INI files for both 2003 and 2004 they look very similar. I tried replacing the 2004 with INI file from 2003 and it still worked the same way. If I can get some suggestions I'll report back with info. Terry K8SMC K8SMC Node Support Pages: http://www.k8smc.com K8SMC Node Connection: telnet://k8smc.com or telnet://198.109.212.235
