Hello to all,
I am a long time LogWindows user (currently version 4.03.03.00) attempting
to convert to DXbase 2004.
I am having some problems getting the log over. I have over 13,000 QSOs in
it. I have been outputting to ADIF and importing that to DXbase. one problem
I am having is that in a large block of records, the time is lacking a colon
(e.g. 1345 instead of 13:45). apparently Log Windows doesn't care, but the
import to DXbase program does and rejects them all.
If this was 10-15 years ago, I would export from Log windows to ASCII and
write a simply interpretive Basic program to change the data and reload into
LogWindows and then export to ADIF. However I don't know how to accomplish
the same in today's technology. I am looking for any suggestions on how to
do this. Thanks,
Ken W7TS
I have MS Office 2000 premium, and visual basic 6, put really have not tried
to write anything with it yet.

Ron : I used a COMPUSA, PCI High-Speed 2-Serial and 1- parallel port
adapter, sku 271773.
It installed including software without a hitch. It was a piece of cake.
