We (especially hams) always want what we don't have. There are some flaws in DXbase 2004, but it was way out in front of most other logging programs to support LoTW ahead of it's launch only 27 days ago. The pace of software-based ham radio tools is rapid enough that we all trust Jack & Co. will have an early update to DXB to enable the import of LoTW adif's to update our CFM field.

Currently, an import is exactly that.... we read QSOs and try to load them into the target database.... provisions for "not importing" but instead, for "updating" requires logic that currently does not exist... BUT DxBase, when you do a non-DXB import, DOES NOT > update the count. Out of 290 qso's confirmed, it loaded only 10.
