Ron, Amazing isn't it? Well, we never miss an opportunity to ask folks to take this issue up with the makers of radios. As long as hams sit back and keep quiet about it and continue to lay out thousands of bucks for a radio that doesn't support basic command sets, the makers of radios have no incentive to even listen let alone do anything about it. It probably takes ten minutes to scratch out a brief letter and put a stamp on it.
