I use
Global QSL Filter...Not Confirmed
and
Global Category Filter...Individual Mode and Band

If you look at the DX Info window
The second column is B/M.....Band/M
If your spot is comes in and is a New band, it should be blue
If you spot comes in and is a New mode, it should be magenta
I think those were the defaults.
But...there is no way to show it as both a new band & a new mode on that band, 
the colors
will not blend. hihi

But it shouldn't be a problem as a quick look at the Summary will indicate 
which it is.
