It looks maybe I'm the only one that's had trouble with the Download
Report showing up as a Web page. On May 7 I did a Download and if my memory
is correct LoTW asked me where to send it and for certain it downloaded as a
.adi file which DXB2005 imported with no problem. Since LoTW did the upgrade
it no longer does this. After a lot of time and misery (May 11) I did get it
to work but it involves changing and typing in info to get it to import since
it winds up as a .adi file inside a .TXT file. I have the proceedure for
handling it as a Web page saved as a text file so it can be done but it's sure
not user friendly. DXbase import is looking for an ADIF file so you have to
enter the info there manually also.
Does anyone remember the download process before ARRL did the upgrade?
I know I didn't go thru this mess on my download on May 7th. Hopefully ARRL
will do something to resolve this thing. Does anyone know of a method to
download as a .adi and send it to the folder where you want it?

Sandy,
I just downloaded an update to my LoTW QSL records tonight and I received
the .adi file directly as it was before the "upgrade". I don't think the
situation you described is associated with LoTW. It sounds like your
computer settings have changed to deal with downloaded files differently.
I use Windows XP Home. Pass along your operating system and maybe someone
can help you with the file download settings in your OS. The web page and
txt file procedure you are going through doesn't sound easy or necessary.
