Per chance did you attempt to run DXBase after copying it back from your CD? Did it fail to start? Look in your task manager under the Processes tab (click on the heading Image Name and it will sort for you) and see if it's still listed. If it is you can't change the files attribute. Just in case you don't know how to access the Task manager in WinXP, right click you mouse on the Task bar. That is the only thing I can think of.

My question is why can't I change the READ ONLY ATTRIBUTE when I right click on properties on the DXB2005 folder? The attribute shows that it removes but it lies. Hope I'm not confusing everybody and if any body knows how to change the read only attribute the inf would be much appreciated.
