This may have been covered before I can't find it in the archives. How are you folks handling Yugoslavia QSOs? DXBase still shows YU, YT, YZ as Yugoslavia but the ARRL DXCC list says they are for Serbia-Montenegro.
I can't get a handle on when this change was made. Feb 4, 2003 seems to be the date that this "loose confederation" came into existance, but I dunno... Do we need to do and "old prefix"- "new prefix" thing with an old prefix date or what? Thanks, Wes From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 19 16:18:31 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Ed Parish K1EP) Date: Thu Aug 19 16:23:22 2004 Subject: [Dxbase] Country Prefixes Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I turned on the cluster today to search for some new band-modes. It flagged YU/OM2RC/P as a new band-mode. I was puzzled, as I have YU confirmed or worked many times. Upon closer examination, DxBase said it was Federal Republic of Germany, or prefix Y (which is deleted). So why did it not see the U of the YU? I typed the call into the QSO field and it again came up with FRG. Did the prefix search stop on the first letter? Okay, so I tried this. I typed in YA/K1EP into the QSO field, fine, prefix is YA. I typed YI/K1EP into the QSO field, fine, prefix is YI. Not that I was intending to go to either place soon. But when I type YU/K1EP into the QSO field, I end up with Y.
