My goal is to place as high on the DXCC "Challenge" list as possible. I have worked approximately 2500 "band/countries". The ultimate goal is to work all countries from 160 meters to 6 meters. CW contacts prior to 1975 do not show in the summary window. There may be a "MXD C" in the status bar, but for me it would be nice to look at the summary window and see a C in all band column. That brings to mind something else that has been bothering me. The "Challenge" award includes 6 meters in addition to the HF bands. I'm of course chasing countries on 6 meters as well. It would make it easier for me if there was a column for 6 meters on the HF Country summary window view. Yes I know then the HF view would have a VHF band on it. If there is a 6 meter spot for a country and I'm not sure if I have it confirmed I now go to the summary window pull down menu and change the view from HF-Country to VHF-Country. Perhaps there is a solution that would delight all of us who chase band/countries and a feature that would be of great value for me on the next version of DXB. Add to the current summary views a "DX - Challenge" view that would have 160 - 6 meters (don't include 60 meters) and all CW, PHONE, DIGITAL, and MIXED. I have pointed out that because CW contacts before 1975 do not show up in the summary window adding MIXED to the list of modes would. I do chase countries on digital modes also. DXB added DIGITAL to the HF-summary when there already was RTTY which includes the digital mode QSOs. Having both at this time is redundant for any DXCC award. 73 Dave -N4DB-
