With Winkey interfaced to DXB, is it normal for the speed pot to be inop?
Thanks and 73, Steve N8NM From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 16 22:16:33 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Garth Hamilton) Date: Tue Jan 16 22:17:38 2007 Subject: [Dxbase] TS870 & DXBase 2006 interface In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> My TS870 used to work with DXBase 2005 but has never worked with DXBase 2006. Getting old and forgetful it seems and I do not seem to be able to figure this out. I appear to have things correct but there is no communications with the radio. I have tried Com1 and Com2 cable is connected to com1 and to the radio. 4800 8 and 2 are the settings DTR etc are all unchecked, Interface is turned on, but I get no error messages whether the radio is on of off when I boot up the program. Can not see VFOa or b frequencies and think I have tried all the variations there are to try. Are there any settings that require the program to be rebooted to work after a change, or does editing them get them working if everything is correct. Is there something on the radio that has to be set up also? Being off the air for several years I seem to have lost all this knowledge. I do just about anything with reports and QSL design and converting logs but can not seem to get this working again. Any help would be appreciated. 73 Garth VE3HO At 10:05 PM 1/16/2007, you wrote: >Send Dxbase mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > >To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase >or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >You can reach the person managing the list at > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific >than "Re: Contents of Dxbase digest..." > > >Today's Topics: > > 1.
