OK I understand. My fear, being old and decrepit, is that I will get on the wrong line or make a typing mistake in doing the changes. I have done them in the past but I just don't trust myself anymore. I think that Neal's idea of making it available if you want to install it is a good one for both you and I. Can't get better than a win, win!

Then once I am satisfied with changes I have made, I prefer not to have those changes overwritten. I certainly have no problem with anyone using an update file. Great for anyone who wants to do it that way, but I have always made updates myself, and prefer to still have the ability to do that. 73, Tim - N3XX ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Parry" <[email protected]> To: "'N3XX'" <[email protected]>; "'Neal Campbell'" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 12, 2010 9:04 AM Subject: RE: [Dxbase] PJ and UA problem > Just curious Tim, why would you make a manual change that is different > from > the accepted correct file? > > Bill W5VX > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] > On Behalf Of N3XX > Sent: Sunday, September 12, 2010 7:04 AM > To: Neal Campbell > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Dxbase] PJ and UA problem > > Sounds great as long as: > > 1.
