In a moment of "Aw, fer cryin' out loud!" and "Doh!" I see that Joe found my problem when he said:

"BE SURE (for now) TO LOOK at your DXbase User Options -- and make SURE that you coordinates Under QTH LOCATION is listed CORRECTLY ---- if you see the BOGUS coordinates (you saw before) -- CHANGE THOSE coordinates in the DXbase User Options!!!!!!!!

Then close out DXbase2007

Then open up DXbase once again --- and then CONNECT to DXATLAS -- YOU SHOULD SEE
the GOOD QTH Home Location now !!!"

Sure enough, somehow my QTH location in DXBase had become corrupted/reset. I set it to where I am in the User Options and all is perfectly hunky-dory, copacetic, dandy, A-OK and just fine. Thanks, Joe! Neal: no bugs here except in the wetware between my ears.
