Um, Enlightenment is just a programme. It isn't an Xserver, and even if it
could do graphic modes beyond what the rest of the X platform is capable of, it
still has its place and it would be included within X, not E.
(If on the other hand, you mean, "Does E do Mesa/Glide?" the answer is no. ;)
The only improvement you mind find with it over a normal graphics card is just
plain, ordinary grunt. Possibly enhanced by one of the xig/Suse servers. No E
games yet, either. Should be interesting if someone tries, though, although
friends have mistaken a theme or two for that.
