On 15-May-98 Vinod Kutty playfully chanted:

| I can't help you with an alternative, but I'd like to make a suggestion:
| if you find something to help you produce HTML in particular, could you
| consider making the output as 'flat' as possible so that it's easier to
| print?
|
| I've seen several docs out there that were auto-generated HTML that were
| overly heirarchical, so you had to keep following links to each section
| and print each one separately. Quite frustrating.
|
| Just thought I'd ask now, before you pick something 8-)

Thanks. I've been discovering that is the only output option to linuxdoc-sgml.
Guess I'll scrap what additions I've done today and start over tomorrow after
I go hunting tonight for better software.  No dice with sgml-powertools either;
just a big mess of code. I will make sure that there are as many formats
avialable of the document as possible, which is the biggest reason for my
trying to latch onto sgml early on.
