No.

e-gold definitely falls into thinking outside the box and using
non-traditional methods. Like Douglas Jackson said at IRS II, "e-gold
isn't an obvious, easy concept. If it was, somebody else would have
already done it."

This doesn't just apply to e-gold. This is way things have always been,
and will probably always be. It also gives a nice challenge. We don't want
life to get too stagnated and boring, now do we? :)
