OK -- so that didn't work!

TO be clear, you could now do, exactly what you did (that same 
process), at CompuBank, Craig?

Thus, if your MM had an account at CompuBank, and I had an act at 
CompuBank, I could transfer you money, in real time, you could check 
that I honestly did that in real time, and IT WOULD BE REASONABLY 
NON-REVOLABLE, and you could send me e-gold?

Is that about right?

Absolutely -- I agree (indeed, futhermore, there would be no problem 
with all USD-denominated banks getting together and allowing that to 
happen interbank -- of course it would require over! a hundred! lines 
of computer code to make it happen)

However, I was being sarcastic because, of course, the banks DONT DO 
this -- even thought it would be so easy for them to do so (as, you 
say, CompuBank does -- and that's terrific if CompuBank does that).
