Technocash is a system to transfer funds from the consumer to a Merchant.
It is currently Australia based only (which is to say not available outside
of Australia).
On the web site it states:
" TECHNOCASH is a non credit card Internet payment system. Everyone can shop
on the Internet - they don't need to have a credit card, debit card, or bank
account. Even kids, pensioners or people worried about credit cards fraud
can shop online.
TECHNOCASH is easy. TECHNOCASH is "cash for Internet".
It does not require consumers to reveal personal details. You simply 'buy
over the counter' to 'spend on the net'.
"Better than cash"
Like cash, consumers can use TECHNOCASH to make private and anonymous
transactions. Unlike cash, they can create passwords to prevent the
unauthorized use of their TECHNOCASH. TECHNOCASH can also be restricted to
certain merchants."
There are two way of purchasing Gold with Technocash:
1) You can purchase receipts at a Australian Post office by giving them a
Bar code voucher which you obtain from the technocash site. This receipt
has a secret number on which you present at the merchants web site as part
of the ordering process.
2) you can purchase Technocash online at their website and directly pay the
Merchant thereby.
