If CERN had a lawsuit against a former employee, maybe even Tim Berners-Lee,
would you abandon the Internet? Your statement belies your claimed
enthusiasm, and is an extremely hasty judgement on a matter of hearsay,
which is a private matter between Charles Evans and e-gold. Where an alleged
breach of trust by a former employee is in question, who are we to stand in
judgement based on heresay? I am prepared to become unhappy with e-gold's
lawsuit when a sufficient weight of real evidence is made public, if it ever
is.
A few people in this list (not Samuel Mc Kee until now, as far as I have
noticed) seem to be happy to perpetually bash e-gold in e-gold's own mailing
list, while some promote various scams and alternatives to e-gold. Onlookers
should not interpret this to indicate some dramatic and ominous loss of
confidence in e-gold, but should consider these matters in the context and
scale of the actual continued growth of a successful and highly useful
electronic commerce tool which is one hundred percent backed by real gold.
