"IF" Russia and China together declare nonacceptance of US Dollars in trade
there would be significant shift in world money focus. "IF" the remaining 57 or
so Islamic countries decide the same thing - the US Dollar would plummet with no
bottom to land upon as countries all over the world traded in their useless
Dollars for gold. The US could not pay its billions of dollars in monthly
imports from these countries in gold without scrounging gold from wherever it
could be found - and at whatever price asked. The free-market price of gold
would sky-rocket with no lid to contain it. IMHO.
