No. I forgot mine. I sent them several emails. I even cc'd one to Jim. A week later I received an email telling me they were trying to contact me but I was unavailable (well, of course I was unavailable, I am always on the Internet so my phone is always busy :) ). That was on a Friday. On Monday I called them. I told the e-gold support person I was home. She asked me to hang up and called me right back. It was only after I answered the phone that she generated the new passphrase (actually, it took their system about two minutes to do so). So, if my experience is any indication of their practice, you need not worry. They will not change your password until they are positice they can give you the new one. E-gold rules!
