Besides, many of the e-gold daily transactions are "Incentive payment" stuff ($ 0.01 or less payments) that I sure wouldn't want to receive those as email notifications ! That leaves a lot less emails to be sent
Also, if the email just stated : "Your received $ xxxx of Gold in your account form XYZ", that wouldn't jeopardize anyone's account number or data in unsecured emails But I guess they better upgrade their servers first, so that we don't have to keep trying fundings for hours before they implement the email notifications...
