I agree with Dannyin one way that his described system is more than your ordinary escrow service. An automated service with new addtional ideas - creating more than you ordinary escrow.
AUTOMATION is the key, without the user having to leave the site and either a. get confused, or b. lose interest. Half the people dont even know what an escrow is, so this more automated, seamless service would provide a more marketable concept than your standard escrow service which involves other sites and to many confusing requirements. I believe the best and possibly only way this would work is if a digital currency took it on though. The requirement for people to leave the DC site makes it a high likihood of the transfer never taking place. I am talking about a seamless currency with both options, not something outside of the system. the system you just paid danny with, is not linked to e-gold or any payment system direct as is a very plain escrow service - unlike the one he describes.
