There is an IRC e-gold discussion channel, run on the IIP server. To gain full-featured access you will need to be a user of IIP, but this is a good idea at any rate. IIP (Invisible Internet Protocol) is a program which works in conjunction with your IRC client to mask your IP and allow for anonymous IRC communication. You can learn more about it here:
