And another hi from me

I think I've found the problem.

We are using netconsole for remote logging and this one is loaded via
/etc/modules (obviously *before* DHCP is running. netconsole tries to
force its way through and in 2.6.25.9 that does not seem to be an issue,
however with the 2.6.27.10 kernel there seems to be a problem when
changing the MTU or slightly after.

When I boot without the netconsole and enable it manually later then it
seems to work fine.

Question: Is this a problem of netconsole, e1000e or my stupidity?

Cheers

Carsten
