Hi Jianliang,
As Gilles mentioned you can read/write CMVs to check/setup ADSL standards, 
specifically: 
For setup: 

OPTN 4, bits 1:0 

00 = Multimode (G.dmt and T1.413) 
01 = G.dmt only 
10 = T1.413 only 

To check how the link came up: 

STAT 0, bit 4 

1 = G.dmt mode 
0 = T1.413 mode

information is in CMV Manual 1-22-2002.pdf send to the list by ADI
at page 129  for ATU-C (dslam side)
at page 131 for ATU-R so the one for our side

To my understanding, OPTN.adsl_standard is optn4 according to page 16

It only remain now to use the various bits and calculate desirated optn4
value.
