Hi,
As you may know, I've been migrated from Free non dégroupé to Free
dégroupé.

I'm looking for ways to have more informations from my DSLAM connection
as my modem stays INITIALIZING... :-(

More info here (French sorry)
http://wiki.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DegroupageFree

I've disabled the automatic eaglectrl -d by hotplug (replaced by
eaglectrl -x 0xfff) so that I can do eaglectrl -d manually
- no debug info is given :-( though I've got
Mar 22 20:42:57 BenAthlux logger: Debug mask set to SAR UNI MPOA INIT
ENET BOOT UTILS MSG SM READ INTS CRC DSP OAM ROUTEIP (0xffff)
- the modem stays with only the PWR LED lighted

Modem is initializing(INITIALIZING)

sometimes INITIALIZING is replaced with UNTRAIN
rarely, the ADSL LED flickers then the modem state becomes "modem is
booting" :-(

Does someone know if we could we send commands to the modem in this
state to obtain *any* information about the line or DSLAM ?
Can the ISP have more information ? (not requiring a physical move...).

(http://francois04.free.fr) it seems my card has very few active
connections (but there are some), does it indicate a potential problem
(I infer it could mean as well that there are not that many subscribers
on that card...)

As you may understand, that means I'm busy ;-) At least the analogic
modem 56K works correctly, but 4 to 6 kB/s is not what I would have
expected ;-) Bad luck I belong to the few 1 or 2% that have
problems :-( I suppose the line has not been correctly connected and I'm
waiting for a physical intervention of my ISP (we'll see in 1
month :'-( )

So, can people help on http://forum.eagle-usb.org : do not hesitate,
you're welcome ! mcoolive / Tux / Sleeper & GEsp do it when I ask, but
new volunteers are *really* needed (there's the http://faq.eagle-usb.org
to enhance/re-read too...). Feel free to come by, I'll be there from
time to time too if needed ;-)
