I did that : rm -rf eagle-usb-2.0.0 && unplug_the_modem && rmmod eagle-usb && rm the_module && rm -rf /etc/eagle-usb && replug_the_modem reboot tar xjvf eagle-usb-2.0.0.tar.bz2 && cd eagle-usb-2.0.0 && ./configure && make && make install && eagleconfig && startadsl eaglectrl -x 0xFFFFFFFF unplug the modem => system freezes instantly, no screen, no mouse, no keybord, no nothing # (22:45:00 system could't even write log on disk, binary-like data may be added by transaction reply after reboot -- ReiserFS) Ctrl +Alt + Syst + b => reboot At end of reboot, connection up and running eaglectrl -x 0xFFFFFFFF (22:55:16 in appended log) unplug the modem => system doesn't freeze, but loghorrea in the log (22:55:26 in the log). Tried eaglectrl -x 0. Did it do anything ? reboot => system begin rebooting but then freezes again (22:57:55) See log appended. A+, Didier
