This is a kernel "made in Mandrake"

No.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] didier]# lsmod | grep usb
eagle-usb 123424 0
usbcore 99100 4 eagle-usb,uhci-hcd
[EMAIL PROTECTED] didier]#

Despite these messages, eagle-usb module is loaded and modem is operational
when I log in after reboot.

Only system's behaviour after unplugging the modem bothers me.
