I'm compiling a linux 2.6.9 kernel to see if it works better.
I'll tell you ... in a few hours, when my PII 233Mhz have finished ;)

Good news : it seems to work perfectly with 2.6.9 :
no oops on connection startup, and no oops on rmmod.
