+1...And if we are going to open up the debugger for improvements there are probabaly 
+a 
whole host of them that would be worth while.

As soon as updating the debugger increases in priority, our intellij friends should 
post a 
"request for enhancements" call here.  I'm sure we could all provide considerable 
input :-)
