What about a pop-up, like in the basic text editor called JBuilder (somebody
knows it ?) ?
We would hit a certain shortcut, and it would open a popup with the list of
currently opened files, with checkboxes in order to choose precisely which
files we want to keep open, and we ones we want to close !

By the way, we could even make a plugin for that, if we have access to the
list of opened files, and it is possible to call the close method or
something similar to close an opened file.
